Beethoven Typed

Created entirely out of type, I was very pleased to see the bust of a well-beloved composer appear out of a new medium (in the spring of 07). I tried to capture the passion and intensity I feel in his symphonies, but also the grace of his romantic period. The type I chose was a mix of bold sanserif and script. Thinking on Beethoven's dynamic personality, the bold type comes naturally. And yet this man began the romantic era of music with his emotion-filled music.
